Bucs begin signing of undrafted prospects
The Bucs on Saturday evening began signing a group of undrafted free agents, including Toledo receiver Eric Page, a projected mid- to late-round draft pick. Page, who left school after his junior season, had 1,182 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2011, but was not among the 33 receivers drafted. Page caught an astounding 125 passes last season.
Also headed to Tampa Bay, USF guard/center Chaz Hine, Toledo tackle Mike Van Der Meulen and former Largo High star Leonard Johnson, a four-year starting cornerback at Iowa State . General manager Mark Dominik said the team could sign up to 15 undrafted players. The full list should be available some time this evening.

Eric Page has now withdrawn from signing with the Buccaneers and has signed with the Denver Broncos.
ReplyDeleteThat's a shame because i didnt know much about the kid and when i watched his highlights he looked very impressive. I like Leonard Johnson alot, did the Bucs sign Tydreke Powell, DT, UNC? One guy i wanted was Patrick Edwards WR, Houston because he is very savvy and fast and would make a very good slot reveiver in the NFL but unfortunately he signed with the Lions.
